Benefits of a Commercial HVAC Maintenance Plan

Preventative maintenance is a critical part of keeping your equipment in good running order and prolongs the life at the same time. The compressor and the heat exchanger are two of the critical components of a heating and cooling system, and the compressor is the heart of a refrigeration system. Preventative maintenance can prevent these parts from failing prematurely. Our preventative maintenance plan is designed to save you money and costly downtime.
Elk Grove Village, Illinois, enjoys diverse weather throughout the year. If your business is in our area, you’ll experience chilly winters, warm summers, and all weather conditions in between. You will need a functioning heater and air conditioner to support your commercial business comfort levels year-round. From discounts on parts and labor to priority service, you can enjoy cost savings and energy efficiency with an annual commercial HVAC maintenance plan.

Discounted Parts and Labor

When you enroll in a maintenance plan, you receive other benefits that will help you to save money. Members covered by our maintenance plan receive special pricing and discounts on repairs. While regular maintenance will minimize the need for repairs, you could still need a service call. With an HVAC maintenance plan, your service calls are always more affordable.

Hassle-Free Maintenance Visits

While you can easily forget about your annual maintenance visits, customers enrolled in a maintenance plan won’t have to worry about keeping up with this necessary task. We take responsibility for keeping all appointments verified by customers. You need to schedule maintenance in spring to get your system ready for summer and fall to get it ready for winter. We make sure that your system is ready to take on whatever weather in Illinois might bring.
Your technician will thoroughly clean and inspect the system. The technician will also tighten electrical connections, lubricate motors and bearings, wash or change filters, and clean condenser and evaporator coils.

Heating and Furnace Maintenance

  • Place the thermostat on an inside wall away from windows and doors.
  • Reduce the temperature to the lowest setting that is comfortable for you. Each degree above 68°F
  • increases the amount of energy required for heating by 3%.
  • When expecting a large group of visitors, turn down the thermostat by 1 or 2 degrees.

Cooling System Maintenance

  • Set the temperature as high as your comfort allows.
  • Ensure attics are properly aired to avoid heat accumulation. If needed, improve airflow by installing or enlarging vents.
  • Choose light-colored roof shingles when building a new home or upgrading an old one to reflect more of the sun’s heat.
  • Use the air conditioner sparingly during warm weather.
  • Close the shades or drapes to screen the sun during the hottest part of the day.
  • Awnings should be installed over windows that receive direct sunlight.
  • During the cooling season, only run kitchen and bath exhaust fans for as long as needed.
  • Lamps, TV sets, and other heat-producing equipment should not be placed beneath a wall-mounted thermostat. As a result of the rising heat from such equipment, your air conditioning system may overcool your home.
